You should check the season, the timeline for the invitations, and your chances of being selected here. If you will be selected you will be notified through email. You will have then 10 days to decide.

Step 3: Apply for a Work Permit

After the selection, you will have 20 to 30 days to apply for a Canadian Work permit. You can apply for a Canadian work permit from the Government of Canada’s official website. Once you fill out all the forms, the system will generate a list of supporting documents that you have to submit with your online application.

Step 5: Pay the Application Fees for Canada Working Holiday Fee)

There are two fees you have to Pay.

• You must pay the International Experience Canada fee of CAD$100
• Open Work Permit Holder fee of CAD$100 for the Working Holiday Visa.
• If you are asked to submit biometrics, you will also have to pay a biometrics fee of CAD$85 at the Canadian Embassy or consulate. If you already have valid biometrics for Canada Visa, then you don’t have to pay it again.
• Pay the Fee and submit the documents.

Step 6: PoE Letter and Travel to Canada

If your application is approved and you are successfully invited to travel to Canada you will get a letter of introduction or a Port of Entry (PoE) Letter to Canada. Keep that letter with you at all times when you travel.
