Scholarship Details – Funding and Benefits
The Amba Dalmia Scholarship for the 2024 cohort offers a substantial monthly stipend to cover living expenses in France, alleviating the financial burden on the scholars. Additionally, recipients benefit from comprehensive support provided by the Embassy of France in India, which includes assistance in securing affordable housing, access to social security benefits, and waivers for Campus France and visa fees. The duration of the scholarship extends up to one year or for the duration of the project/study program in France and is not renewable.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Amba Dalmia Scholarship, candidates must:
Be female students or professionals aged 18 or above.
Have completed high school or graduated from a recognized institution with a remarkable academic record.
Have applied to or secured admission in a higher education institution in France.
Candidates who have received scholarships from the French Government or Erasmus Mundus are not eligible.
While proficiency in French is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.
