Scholarship Details: Deakin University offers two main scholarship programs:
- RTP Scholarships: Funded by the Australian Government.
- DUPR Scholarships: Funded by Deakin University.

Eligibility Requirements: To qualify for the Deakin University HDR Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a domestic or international student enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) course at Deakin University.
- Have completed at least four years of tertiary education.
- Not be receiving another scholarship that offsets HDR fees.
- Have an income not exceeding 75% of the RTP or DUPRS stipend rate for living costs during the course.
- Have achieved 80% or higher in the research component of previous studies, or demonstrate equivalent academic excellence, including relevant work experience, research publications, and other research achievements.
- Meet all other entry requirements as per the HDR Admission, Selection, and Enrolment Procedure.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Stipend: $34,400 per year, tax-free.
- Relocation Allowance: $500 to $1,500, depending on family status, for those relocating interstate or from overseas.
- Health Insurance: Single Overseas Student Health Cover for international students.
- Doctoral Degree Duration: 3 years for stipends and 4 years for tuition fees offset.
- Research Master’s Degree Duration: 2 years for both stipend and tuition fees offset.
