The UniTO for Students at Risk Scholarship provides significant financial and logistical support to help students thrive in their academic journey. The scholarship includes:
Financial Support: Recipients will receive a total of €11,000 (gross), disbursed in three installments throughout the academic year.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the UniTO for Students at Risk Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Age Requirement: Applicants must be born after January 1, 1995.
Residence Permit: Applicants must hold a residence permit for international protection (asylum/refugee status or subsidiary protection), special protection, temporary protection due to the humanitarian emergency in Ukraine, or another form of protection under Italian immigration laws, issued in Italy since 2018.
Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a foreign qualification eligible for enrollment in a UniTO undergraduate (three-year program) or postgraduate degree program with free admission for the academic year 2024/2025.
Application Submission: Applications must be submitted on the Apply@UniTo platform by specific deadlines:
- Postgraduate degree programs: by January 31, 2024.
- Undergraduate degree programs: by April 30, 2024.
- Alternative submission window: between August 21 and September 4, 2024.
Program Details
The scholarship is available for two categories based on the type of degree program:
Undergraduate Degree Programs (three-year programs): Four scholarships are available for students enrolled in the following programs:
- Global Law and Transnational Legal Studies (English-taught)
- Languages and Modern Cultures for Tourism (Italian-taught)
- Modern Languages and Literatures (Italian-taught)
Postgraduate Degree Programs: Six scholarships are available for students enrolled in any postgraduate degree program with free admission, whether taught in Italian or English.
