The Justus & Louise Van Effen Excellence Scholarships at TU Delft University offer outstanding international students the opportunity to pursue an MSc degree. Each faculty provides two scholarships annually. Applications for the TU Delft Justus & Louise Excellence Scholarships 2025 are now open, with the deadline for submission set for December 1, 2024. Applicants can choose from any MSc program offered at TU Delft, one of the top public universities in the Netherlands.

Scholarship Coverage
The Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships provide:
- Full tuition fees for MSc programs
- A contribution towards living expenses

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all nationalities.
- Applicants must be conditionally admitted to a 2-year regular TU Delft MSc program.
- Must have an excellent academic record in previous studies.
- Must meet all admission requirements.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Proof of English language proficiency:
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum overall score of 100.
- IELTS (Academic): Minimum overall score of 7.0 (IELTS One Skill Retake Scheme is acceptable).
- A GRE test score is required for the following programs:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Computer & Embedded Systems Engineering
- Computer Science
- Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Technology
English Language Test Exemption
No English proficiency test is required if you are:
- A national citizen of Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the USA.
- An applicant with a bachelor’s degree from one of the aforementioned countries.

- If not yet graduated, provide a certified statement from your university confirming the type of degree you will obtain.

Application Process for the MSc Program at TU Delft
- Apply and submit your application for the MSc program.
- After receiving an offer, apply for the Justus & Louise Excellence Scholarships.
- Complete your MSc application.
- Upload the Scholarship Application Form.
- Upload two reference letters.
- Upload the English language certificate.
Successful scholarship recipients will be notified by TU Delft via email by the end of March 2025.
