Eligibility Criteria
The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is open to students from the following countries: Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Mexico, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Meet the GPA requirements specific to their country.
- Have one to three semesters remaining as of fall 2025.
- Not necessarily have a valid passport at the time of application, but will need one later.
- Obtain a reference letter from a professor.
- Update their CV.
- Obtain academic transcripts (in English or French).
- Apply to a minimum of three and a maximum of ten projects, ensuring that selections are from at least three different Canadian provinces.
- Ensure their passport is valid until at least January 2026.
