Applications are now open for the United Nations Young Leaders Training Program. This program offers participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the United Nations and equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to realize their potential as global leaders. The program consists of a 4-week online course conducted on UNITAR’s e-learning platform, covering essential topics such as the United Nations, Conference Diplomacy, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Cosmopolitan Communication.
Program Details
The online training program provides flexibility, requiring 4-6 hours of learning per week. It includes a 3.5-hour workshop on Leadership. Open to all applicants interested in international affairs, the program aims to boost leadership skills and deepen knowledge of the UN and International Geneva.

Module 3: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Module 4: Cosmopolitan Communication
The course features reading materials, multimedia files, and opportunities for discussion and idea exchange with fellow participants and UNITAR instructors.

In addition to the online modules, the program includes 1.5-hour live webinars via Zoom with UN experts on the following topics:
- Webinar A: The United Nations System
- Webinar B: The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Webinar C: Model United Nations (MUN) Training
- Webinar D: UN Career Development
Eligibility
- Open to youth from around the world.
- University and high school students, as well as other motivated young leaders.
- Junior professionals from the public and private sectors, and senior officials who are young at heart, are equally welcome to apply.
Certification
Upon completing the program, all participants will receive an official UNITAR certificate of completion.
