Since the 1950s, more than 20,000 international students have completed their studies in the Czech Republic with the support of this scholarship. The duration of a Master’s degree program is 2 to 3 years, while a PhD program lasts 3 to 4 years. Scholarships are available for programs taught in both English and Czech, with funding also provided for a one-year Czech language course. More details are provided below.

Financial Support
The scholarship provides the following benefits:
- Study Costs: Covered
- Living Expenses:
- CZK 16,000 per month for Master’s degree students
- CZK 17,000 per month for PhD degree students
- Accommodation, Food, and Public Transport Costs: Covered by the scholarship holders from the scholarship
- Travel Expenses: Costs for traveling to the Czech Republic and returning to the student’s home country are covered by the nominating party or by the student themselves.
Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is open to citizens of the following countries:
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Cambodia
- Ethiopia
- Georgia
- Ukraine
- Moldova
- Zambia
Note: Citizens of other countries, as well as EU citizens and citizens of the Czech Republic, are not eligible to apply.
- Students applying for the Master’s program must hold a Bachelor’s degree.
- Students applying for the PhD program must hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree.
