What is the Coca-Cola Scholars Program?
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation supports over 1,400 outstanding college students annually, distributing $3.55 million in scholarships through three nationally recognized programs. The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to high school seniors, recognizing their leadership, service commitments, and substantial contributions to their schools and communities. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided over $84 million in educational support to more than 6,900 Coca-Cola Scholars.
Coca-Cola Scholars Program Coverage Details
Each year, 150 exceptional high school seniors receive a $20,000 scholarship to support their post-secondary education. This program is not just about financial support; it’s about empowering young leaders dedicated to creating positive change in their communities.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the 2025 Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Enrollment:
- Currently enrolled high school or home-schooled students attending school in one of the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or select Department of Defense (DoD) schools.
- Students graduating from American or expat schools abroad are not eligible.
Citizenship:
- Must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolees, as defined by the U.S. Department of Education for Federal Financial Aid eligibility.
Graduation:
- Expecting to receive a high school diploma during the current academic year.
Post-Secondary Plans:
- Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution.
Academic Performance:
- Able to verify a minimum overall B/3.0 GPA in high school coursework.
Ineligible Applicants
The following individuals are not eligible for the Coca-Cola Scholars Program:
- Children or grandchildren of current employees, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, or its subsidiaries.
- Children or grandchildren of former employees who are currently receiving retirement benefits from Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, or its subsidiaries.
- International students, except those attending DoD schools.
- High school graduates.
- Temporary residents.
