Germany Opportunity Card (Opens June 1, 2024)

Discover New Career Horizons with the Germany Opportunity Card

The Germany Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte) is an innovative initiative designed to attract skilled workers from outside the European Union (EU). This program offers a 12-month window for skilled professionals to come to Germany and search for employment without needing a job offer or permanent employment contract beforehand. Applications for the Opportunity Card can be submitted at German embassies and consulates starting June 1, 2024.

Why Choose the Germany Opportunity Card?

This card is more flexible and offers a longer validity period compared to the Germany Job Seeker Visa. Applicants from all non-EU countries are eligible to apply. With the Opportunity Card, you can also engage in part-time work for up to 20 hours a week. To ensure a smooth application process, applicants must meet certain requirements and score at least six points based on criteria such as education, age, experience, and language skills.
