Rotary Peace Fellowship 2025-26 (Fully Funded Opportunity)


Applications are now open for the Rotary Peace Fellowship 2025-26. Rotary annually awards up to 130 fully funded fellowships to committed leaders worldwide to study at one of their peace centers. The fellowship encompasses a master’s degree program and a Professional Development Certificate program. International applicants from various countries have the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree program in Australia, England, the USA, Japan, Sweden, and a Certificate program in Thailand and Uganda.

Benefits of the Rotary Peace Fellowship Program:

1. Tuition fees will be covered.

2. Room and board.

3. Round-trip transportation.

Duration of Fellowship:

1. Rotary Master’s Degree Fellowship: 15 to 24 months

   - University Name: Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

   - Program Name: International Development Policy from Duke, any master’s degree from the University of North Carolina


2. Japan:

   - University Name: International Christian University

   - Program Name: Master’s degree in Peace Studies within the program of Public Policy and Social Research.


3. England:

   - University Name: University of Bradford

   - Program Name: Master’s degrees related to peace, conflict, security, and development.


4. Australia:

   - University Name: University of Queensland

   - Program Name: Master’s degree in international studies and peace and conflict studies.


5. Sweden:

   - University Name: Uppsala University

   - Program Name: Master’s degree in social science.


6. Turkey:

   - University Name: BahรงeลŸehir University

   - Program Name: Certificate Program


7. Uganda:

   - University Name: Makerere University

   - Program Name: Certificate Program


Eligibility Criteria for a Master’s Degree Fellowship:

1. The candidate should be academically strong.

2. Holds a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

3. Work experience of 3 years.

4. Has the potential for leadership.

5. Must have a gap of at least three years between the completion of their most recent academic degree program and their intended start date for the fellowship.


Eligibility Criteria for a Certificate Program:

1. The candidate should be a mid-career peace and development leader.

2. Holds a bachelor’s degree.

3. Work experience of 5 years.

4. Has the leadership potential.

5. Must have a gap of at least three years between the completion of their most recent academic degree program and their intended start date for the fellowship.


Note: Active Rotary members, employees of the Rotary Club, Rotary International, or other Rotary entities are ineligible for the Rotary Peace Fellowship.


What is a Rotary Professional Development Certificate Program?

This program is intended for working professionals and requires 11 weeks of on-site participation. Fellows earn a postgraduate diploma upon completion of the program.
