WHO Polio Eradication Internship in Switzerland 2024

Duties and Learning Opportunities:

As an intern, you will assist the Containment Team (CNT) under the guidance of a technical officer. Your responsibilities will encompass supporting the CNT SharePoint, managing data and documents, drafting reports, and participating in ongoing projects. This internship offers an understanding of the global health landscape, particularly in poliovirus containment, and facilitates the development of skills in data analysis, report drafting, and project coordination.


Qualifications Requirement:

- Education: Completion of three years of full-time university studies, currently enrolled in a public health-related course.

- Skills: Teamwork, respect for cultural differences, effective communication, willingness to learn from mistakes, and proficiency in standard computer programs.

- Experience: Valuable experience in laboratory sciences, microbiology, science communications, research, data analysis, and fieldwork.
