Aalto University in Finland is pleased to announce the commencement of applications for its Aalto Science Institute international summer research (internship) program. This fully funded internship is open to applicants of all nationalities, providing paid employment opportunities for bachelor’s and master’s students. The program, running for 12 weeks from June to August 2024, offers a unique summer experience in Finland, complete with cultural and social activities. A total of 60 internship positions are available.
In the previous year, the program received over 1600 applications from 84 countries, with 53 applicants selected. Internship positions are available in various fields, including Science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, Arts, Design, and Architecture. The program does not require an English language test.

Who can Apply?
The Aalto Science Institute (AScI) international summer research (internship) program is open to Europeans and non-EU nationals.
Financial Benefits
All interns will receive:
- A minimum stipend of 1800 €/month for bachelor’s students and higher for master’s students.
- Stipends that cover living expenses and accommodation.
- An amount for an Airfare Ticket (400€/800€ for those inside/outside Europe).
Eligibility Criteria
Open to all nationals, the program is available to students in bachelor's or master’s programs. Internships cover a wide range of fields, including Science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, Arts, Design, and Architecture. IELTS is not mandatory.
