About IMF Fund Internship Program 2024

Duration of the IMF Summer Internship:
- Successful applicants will undertake a 10-12 week paid
internship between June and September 2024.
Eligibility Criteria:
- PhD students:
- One to two years
away from completing a PhD in macroeconomics or a related field.
- In student status
during the internship.
- Below the age of
32 at the internship's commencement.
- Excellent command
of English, written and oral.
- Strong analytical,
quantitative, and computer skills.
- Master’s students:
- Completing a
Master’s degree in macroeconomics or a related field.
- Below the age of
28 at the internship's commencement.
- Excellent command
of English, written and oral.
- Strong analytical,
quantitative, and computer skills.
Documents with your Application:
- Fully completed application form and responses to all
questions.
- A personal CV/Resume as an attachment.
- A recent transcript for the university program in which
you are currently registered.
Visa Requirements for the IMF Internship:
- If you are not a U.S. citizen or lack other work
authorization in the USA, you will need a G4 visa. The IMF will provide the
necessary paperwork for your G4 visa request with U.S. authorities.
